Powersports questions, answered
What size winch do I need for a UTV?
Multiply the loaded weight of the machine, with riders and gear, by 1.5. Many UTVs land in the 3,500 to 5,000 pound range.

On the street, a helmet must carry the DOT label in states that require helmets. Many helmets sold in the US carry both DOT and ECE 22.06.
Read: DOT vs ECE 22.06 vs Snell →Should a new helmet be tight?
Snug, yes. Cheek pads compress with use, so a new helmet should feel firm on the cheeks. It should not cause pain or a headache within 15 to 20 minutes.

Helmets and armor are compared on the certification they carry, never on marketing claims of strength.
Each guide says who the gear suits, who should look elsewhere, and what to check before you buy.
Brands cannot buy a review or a spot on a list. Partner codes save you money; they never decide what we recommend.
Prices are dated, codes are updated across the site at once, and pages are revised when a product, standard or rule changes.
